Eight day in Northern Ireland - Friday 8th July 2011.

This was an easy day, the first activity was for later in the day after supper. I choose the earlier part to explore some of the Murlough Nature Reserve and to witness the high tide at the nearby beach. So following te parth through the woods I arrived at the beach, the tide was not that high but flowing (getting higher not ebbing) and I snapped a few pics. What 'is that a seal I see' it must be the Wadadli. It's head was bobbing up and down in the friggid water of the Irish Sea and heading into the bay towards Dundrum. I was walking along the beach at the time trying to find my way along the trail passing a few persons going for walks in the opposite direction. Pictures I was able to follow the trail back to Murlough House taking in the view of nearby Dondrum.

Richie (not to be confused with Richard the Gardner) our host took Pastor Gavin and myself to 'The cross Point' Centre where he was working with the youths. After playing some ping pong and hearing that I have a "lazy" left hand, I went exploring again. We were in Dondrum and I was able to see where I was earlier that day. The low tide was in effect so I took some lanscape pics to demonstrate this, the park and the church were lovely as well.
Back at the crosspoint center Pastor Gavin told the youths tht they must have a dream and asked every one what they wished to become on growing up. Doctots, Travellers, Engeniers, teachers (Educators) and one future missionary was amoung them. The next step is to associate yourself to your dream by reading, learning about or making friends with people already doing what you want to become. We helped to pack the chairs away and clean as we had "helped" to dispose of the snacks earlier. I met Henry the Hoover(Vacuum Cleaner) doing the downstairs rug and was told that I could work in Buckingham Palace. Richie took someone back to Newcastle and we saw the team bus at the Kairos Centre. We caught upwith them on the way back and Richie blew his horn to disperse the bunny rabbits who definitely could not have gotten out of the way in time. God is a good God.
