Day 10 in Nothern Ireland - Sunday 10th July, 2011

This was the penultimate (look it up) day of our trip in Northern Ireland and we went to the Newcastle Baptist Church twice and I walked the Newcastle Promnarde Twice.  Our team leader from Jamaica overexerted himself at the Y the evening before so our church contingent for the morning was 20% less. Sean & Janet from our team along with Robert made up the worship team (giving a caribben/Jamaican flavour) that was for the evening service, (what am I saying? phew). Janet (our only female and singer) was asked to render a solo for the morning service. We had holy communion in the morning  service and heard a sermon from the assistant pastor/songleader/deacon. After the evening service we went for a farewell dropin at the Kairos Centre in Newcastle. when that ended since it was still light after 10:00 p.m wedecided to go to the beach (that entails walking the promnarde of Newcastle-on-sea). during that walk with the youths I saw an open air service announcing meetings and two persons in a team stopped me and asked me if I would like to attend the evangelistic meeting and to know Jesus. Our work was definitely not in vain.
